Tank Truck Offload Facility gives more readiness to JBER
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jherron Parks-Harris, a 673d Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels laboratory technician, re-labels a quart jar at a tank truck offload facility on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, July 25, 2019. The TTOF became fully operational December 2018, and provides a secondary means to receive JP-8 (Jet Propellant 8) in the event JBER’s fuel pipelines are out of service due to maintenance, damage or natural disaster.
