Arctic warriors advance with focus on prevention
Sirajah Raheem, an Alteristic technical assistance specialist and senior trainer, speaks during a solution-driven Green Dot violence prevention seminar at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 14, 2019. Since 2016, Green Dot facilitators across the Air Force have trained Airmen on what it means to be a bystander and steps they can take when issues arise, with the goal being to reduce or prevent sexual assault and violence. Beginning in January 2019, the Joint Installation Prevention Team shifted its focus from response to prevention when it comes to families in crisis.
