JBER commemorates POW/MIA through ceremony, ruck march and ASYMCA of Alaska food drive

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson service members donate canned goods near the end of a POW/MIA ruck march through JBER, Alaska, Sept. 21, 2018. POW/MIA recognition day is observed every year on the third Friday in September and honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. Service members also attended a POW/MIA recognition ceremony.
