Alaska-based service members explore Denali
Alaska-based service members discover the Eielson Visitor’s Center area during Military Appreciation Day at Mile 66, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska, Sept. 15, 2018. This was the 11th annual Military Appreciation Day which included 400 “road lottery” tickets given out to Alaskan based military members. The Eielson Bluffs area has always been famous for its amazing views of Denali on clear days, and it is not uncommon to see wildlife on the surrounding hillsides.
