Fisher House opens second home away from home
U.S. Air Force Deputy Chaplain (Lt. Col.) James Anderson, shares his experience with the Fisher House during the opening ceremony for Fisher House II at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sep. 10, 2018. The opening ceremony featured an array of key speakers, the 9th Army Band, Air Force Honor Guard, a ribbon-cutting and a walk-through. The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership established to improve the quality of life for military members, retirees, veterans and their families.
