An Alaskan Federation of Natives council member presents a bolo tie to U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Ken Wilsbach, commander of Alaskan NORAD Region, Alaskan Command and Eleventh Air Force, during a Native Alaska naming ceremony at the Fireweed Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska, Aug. 21, 2018. AFN hosted the unique event honoring Wilsbach for his service and involvement with Native Alaskan communities during his tenure in Alaska. It marked the first time in Alaska Native history a U.S. Armed forces general officer was given multiple Native names.
