Spartans run for National Airborne Day

1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment paratroopers completed a four mile run for National Airborne Day on 16 Aug., 2018 at Joint Base Elmendorf –Richardson, Alaska. The paratroopers ran in honor of the U.S. Army’s first parachute platoon jump, 78 years ago at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1940.
