An F-22 Raptor refuels while a C-130 Hercules takes off at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 10, 2018. The Raptor performs both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions allowing full realization of operational concepts vital to the 21st century Air Force. The C-130 can accommodate a wide variety of oversized cargo, including utility helicopters and six-wheeled armored vehicles to standard palletized cargo and passengers.
