Outdoor Adventure Program ‘Rock On’ trip kicks off climbing season
Christian Ortega, an Outdoor Adventure Program recreational assistant, throws climbing rope down after an OAP rock-climbing trip at Pivot Point Trail near Anchorage, Alaska, May 31, 2018. Ortega has been climbing for more than five years and has and internship with OAP on guided events and classes. The OAP offers low-cost opportunities for the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson community to explore Alaska while also supporting the development of mission-ready military members.
