JBER firefighters participate in exercise in preperation for 2018 Arctic Thunder Open House
Louis Larousse, 673d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) fire emergency services crew chief, speaks to a small group of Soldiers acting as victims during the active-shooter exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 17, 2018. Larousse is a crew chief on Fire Engine #2 and was a lead participant in the exercise in preparations for the Arctic Thunder Open House scheduled to take place June 30 and July 1. This exercise provided a scenario and specific training on possible threats. The Airmen were given feedback and an opportunity to learn from the scenario at the end of the exercise.
