JBER firefighters participate in exercise in preperation for 2018 Arctic Thunder Open House

Airman 1st Class Alec Cagle, a 673d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) firefighter, counts people present during an active-shooter exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 17, 2018. The 673d CES participated in an exercise in preparations for the Arctic Thunder Open House scheduled to take place June 30 and July 1. The exercise is used to prepare for possible real-world scenarios. The Airmen were given feedback and an opportunity to learn from the scenario at the end of the exercise.
