JBER firefighters participate in exercise in preperation for 2018 Arctic Thunder Open House

Firefighters from the 673d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) fire and emergency services, put additional gloves on before picking up a simulated victim for transport during an active-shooter exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 17, 2018. The 673d CES participated in an exercise in preparations for the Arctic Thunder Open House scheduled to take place June 30 and July 1. The exercise is used to test their capabilities in challenging circumstances and provide support to medical personnel throughout the scenario.
