JBER firefighters participate in exercise in preperation for 2018 Arctic Thunder Open House

Airman 1st Class Brittney Jordan, a 673d Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) firefighter, covers a simulated victim with an emergency blanket during an active-shooter exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 17, 2018. The 673d CES fire and emergency services participated in an exercise in preparations for the Arctic Thunder Open House scheduled to take place June 30 and July 1. The exercise is used to test their capabilities in challenging circumstances and provide training for possible incidents.
