Two HH-60s took to the skies above JBER for the week-long training. The pilots and crew maneuvered though various scenarios before firing at stationary targets.

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Tech. Sgt. Luis Perea, an Airman of the 210th Rescue Squadron Alaska Air National Guard, feeds a .50-caliber ammunition belt through a GAU-18 machine gun feed shoot at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 25, 2018. Airmen of the 210 RQS participate in fixed forward fire gunnery training at JBER. For a week, two HH-60 Pave Hawks took to the skies and fixed their GAU .50-caliber machine guns forward.
