JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Pedro Pena and Courtney Duran, participants of the 2018 Slush Cup, sit on a ski lift at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson’s Hillberg Ski Area, March 18, 2018. The Slush Cup is a two-fold annual event celebrating the change in weather, consisting of skiers and snowboarders trying to make it across a man-made slush pond without falling.
