JOINT-BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - U.S. Air Force Maj. David James Balmer is an F-22 Raptor pilot for the 477th Fighter Group on the weekends and a financial advisor for Edward Jones during the week. Though finance and flying are quite different, Balmer uses what he learned serving in the Air Force to better serve his client’s financial goals.
