JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Soldiers assigned to the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, unload a U.S. Army AH-64D Apache attack helicopter from a U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy transport aircraft from Travis Air Force Base, Cali.Jan. 20, 2018, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Ground crews are able to load and off-load the C-5 simultaneously at the front and rear cargo openings, reducing transfer time for homeland defense.
