4/25 Paratroopers conduct airborne jump training at JBER
Two U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster IIIs, assigned to the 3rd Wing and the 437th Airlift Wing out of Joint Base Charleston, respectively, fly over Malemute drop zone before conducting airborne jump training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 24, 2017. During the jump training approximately 400 Soldiers, assigned to 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, parachuted from the two C-17 Globemaster IIIs to maintain their airborne status during the brigade’s upcoming deployment to Afghanistan.
