Alaska Air National Guard and Alaska Army National Guard cooperate for mass-casualty training exercise at JBER

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Alaska Air National Guard pararescuemen with the 212th Rescue Squadron communicate with an incoming UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during a mass-casualty training event at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 21, 2017. During the exercise, the rescue operators located, assessed, treated and evacuated numerous casualties while engaging and eliminating multiple attacks from opposition forces. The helicopters were provided by the Alaska Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment.
