JBER shines a light on infractions

A properly sealed and labeled fiber board container with fluorescent lamps inside awaits being transported to a local recycling facility at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 8 2017. Containers must be closed, structurally sound, compatible with the contents of the lamps and must prevent leakage or damage that could cause releases of mercury or other hazardous constituents to the environment under reasonably foreseeable conditions.
