JBER shines a light on infractions
Scott Tarbox, JBER hazardous waste manager, demonstrates the proper placement of a fluorescent lamp in a properly labeled and sealable container at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 8, 2017. Fluorescent lamp bulbs are considered universal waste, so the proper storage, labeling and disposal of them are regulated by Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulation Part 273.
