JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - Army Air Corps Staff Sgt. Leslie Edwards, the last known living Tuskegee Airman of the the 477th Bombardment Group, meets U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Jeremiah Frye, 477th Fighter Group quality assurance inspector, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 14, 2017. In 2007, the 477th Bombardment Group became the 477th Fighter Group, bringing with it the legacy of Tuskegee Airmen to Alaska.
