High School Junior ROTC cadets jump at JBER
Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Wolfe, 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment Scout Platoon platoon sergeant and native of Madison, Wis., inspects Eagle River High School Air Force Junior ROTC Cadet Riley Sheldon before the high school student jumps from a 34-foot jump tower April 19, 2017, at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Airborne Sustainment Training Area. Many of the same safety checks used for an actual parachute jump are used for jump tower training. Sheldon is the daughter of Sgt. Maj. Ronald Sheldon, the 673d Air Base Wing sergeant major.
