HVAC/R Clears a Line Set

Shane Shepperd, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigerant technician, 773 Civil Engineering Squadron, prepares a line set for refrigerant at a restaurant on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, March 22, 2017. Shepperd pumped nitrogen through the line to clear it of any debris that accumulated over time. Once the line is clear, refrigerant will be introduced to keep the freezer cooler motor from overheating.
