JBER's own completes Iditarod

Rick Casillo, Battle Dogs founder and Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race veteran, finishes in 28th place at 9 days, 11 hours, 56 minutes, 40 seconds in Nome, Alaska, March 15, 2017. Casillo has been racing since 2004 and in 2012, he and his wife, Air Force Lt. Col. Jennifer Casillo, Alaska Air National Guard 176th Rescue Wing aircraft maintenance operations flight commander, created Battle Dogs to help combat veterans.
