JBER's own completes Iditarod
Children wait in anticipation for Mitch Seavey, the first-place winner of the 45th Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, in Nome, Alaska, March 14, 2017. Nome hosts the finish line of Alaska’s Last Great Race, sometimes referred to as the ‘Mardi Gras of the North,’ and approximately 1,000 people arrive in Nome to participate in the event.
