Iditarod 2017

Air Force Col. George T.M. Dietrich III, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, holds on to Air Force Lt. Col. Roger Lee’s sled dogs at the 45th annual Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Anchorage, Alaska, March 4, 2017. More than 1,150 dogs pulled 72 mushers for the day’s 11 mile run to Campbell Airstrip.
