Faucets temporarily run dry for overnight maintenance

Maintenance of the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson water distribution system is scheduled to begin Jan. 18, which means some base residents will be without water for a short period overnight. Regular maintenance prevents failure of the water system and keeps JBER mission ready, said Stephen Ellis, 773d Civil Engineer Squadron utility system supervisor.
