JBER youth center celebrates Worldwide Day of Play

Children earn prizes depending on which game they play during the Worldwide Day of Play at the Kennecott Youth Center at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sept. 21, 2016. The Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event that encourages kids and parents to go outside and play instead of sitting indoors and watching television. Due to inclement weather, the Kennecott Youth Center provided several games and stations like the cupcake walk, indoor rock climbing, batting cage, pitching mound and more.
