Air Force Lt. Gen. Russell Handy Fini-Flight

Air Force Lt. Gen. Russell Handy is greeted by friends and family after his final flight as Alaskan Command, Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Region and 11th Air Force commander at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 10, 2016. Handy is a command pilot with more than 3,600 flight hours, primarily in the F-15 Eagle and F-22A Raptor. He has participated in numerous combat operations and deployments, including operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Desert Fox, Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.
