539th CTC prepare for Polar Express Line-Haul
Spc. Keon Hill, a transportation operator with the 539th Composite Truck Company from Fort Wainwright, Alaska, uses a load binder to secure a Humvee on a M915A5 Line-Haul Tractor Truck, in support of Polar Express at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, August 3, 2016. The equipment transported will be used by U.S. Army Alaska Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regimen; 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment; 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment; and 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment will execute a live-fire training exercise with 105-mm howitzers, 60-mm, 81-mm, and 120-mm mortars at The DonnelyTraining Area.
