673d MDG Opens first Behavioral Health Unit in PACAF

Guests and leadership from all around Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska gather in the new Behavioral Health Unit at the JBER hospital Aug. 25, 2015 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 673d Medical Group's BHU is the first established in PACAF, the unit has been in the planning process since 2009, originally conceived when the JBER hospital was built, and is scheduled to open its doors Sept. 1, 2015.
