Northern Edge begins at Eielson
A U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender aircraft assigned to the 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., prepares to take off June 15, 2015, during Exercise Northern Edge 15 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Northern Edge 15 is Alaska’s premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services.
