JBER service members compete in ASYMCA Combat Fishing Tournament
Fishing vessels pass by mountains and views of glaciers during the Armed Services YMCA Combat Fishing Tournament near Seward May 20. This is the ninth year area charter fishermen have donated time and tackle for service members. “It’s not just a fishing trip,” said Steve Zernia, captain of the Pursuit. “There’s a lot of stuff to see on the way out to and from fishing; mountains, glaciers, sea lions, porpoises and occasionally whales, stuff like that.” (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Robert Barnett)
