Preventing domestic violence
The Covenant House Alaska hosted the Domestic Violence Prevention Month opening ceremony on Oct. 1, 2014. The house has served thousands of homeless, at-risk, and trafficked youth in the state. Through their three main programs, including emergency shelter, street outreach and transitional living and associated services, including housing services, health care services, and more, we meet the basic needs of youth in crisis. They are supported by various organizations around the local area including social services, the Anchorage Police Department and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
