Watching for road changes as the weather changes on JBER

Roadside kits, like the one pictured above, should contain jumper cables, a flashlight, first aid kit, fluorescent distress signal and battery charger. Emergency preparedness kits should be included in everyday travel at any time of the year. During the winter months, kits should include an extra set of warm clothing, winter boots, socks, cold weather jacket and coveralls, water, snacks, and sand.
