Retired and active duty military members participate in annual Eco Challenge

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska-- Bill Kane, a 59 year-old military retiree, participated in the Eco Challenge event at Hillberg Ski Area on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson July 19. Kane works as a park ranger at Kenai Fjords National Park in Seward, Alaska, and has participated in the event every year since 2009 as a way to stay fit and healthy.
