Airman wins protocol award; First in PACAF
Air Force Maser Sgt. Richard Bechand, 11th Air Force superintendent of Protocol, is awarded the first ever Pacific Air Force Protocol Professional of the Quarter award by Lt. Gen. Stephen Hoog, 11th Air Force commander, at Alaska Command Headquarters on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson June 7. Bechand recieved this award for his hard work and determination as the superintendent of Protocol. Bechand's job is to make events on base run as smoothly as possible and to enforce proper customs and courtesies at events, such as change-of-command ceremonies.
