Spartans field 21st Century parachute
Paratroopers from the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, jump from a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III over Malemute Drop Zone Sept. 19. Senior leaders and riggers from the Spartan Brigade jumped from the aircraft to demonstrate confidence in the T-11 parachute as the brigade switches from the T-10. Paratroopers of the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion, and the 1st Squadron (Airborne), 40th Cavalry Regiment, jumped the parachute last week as part of a wider adoption of the system.
