St. Paddy's Day Fun Run

Participants run on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during the first St. Paddy’s Day Fun Run, March 14. More than 20 military members and their families participated in the run. St. Patrick’s Day recognizes the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. Traditionally, celebrants wear the color green or feature shamrocks to signify the Christian holy Trinity, revered in Irish culture. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Tammie Ramsouer)
