Civilian Personnel Can Stay Fit, Too

Sarah Padilla does burpees at the JBER-E Fitness Center on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 9, 2014. A burpee consists of squats, push-ups and jumping. Padilla uses an exercise cycle of push-ups, burpees, bicycles, and abdominal sits during her workout. The fitness centers offer many fitness opportunities, such as personal trainers, swimming pools and massage therapy to all Department of Defense identification card holders.
