The Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, which was enacted by Congress in 1986 protects the rights of service members and their families during federal and state elections. UOCAVA working in conjunction with the Federal Voting Assistance Program which provides tools and resources that allows eligible service members and their families to cast their vote from anywhere in the world.
