Bergeson assumes command of 3rd Wing

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Col. Thomas Bergeson speaks to the 3rd Wing Airmen after assuming command at Hangar 1 Aug. 18. Colonel Bergeson's prior assignments include flying duties as a Weapons School F-15 instructor pilot, flight commander, operations officer, squadron commander, operations group commander, vice wing commander and a staff assignment as the executive officer to the Air Combat Command commander.
