Arctic Warriors honor POW/MIA

ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A Fallen Warrior Memorial stands upright as the POW/MIA flag waves in the background during the POW/MIA ceremony Sept. 19. The Fallen Warrior Memorial consists of items that represent different aspects of the battle field. The rifle represents the warriors weapon, the helmet represents the armor, the boots and nametags represents the fallen warrior itself, and the single rose represents the countries love, honor and mourning for the fallen warrior.
