Arctic Warriors STEP promoted

Arctic Warriors stand on stage during the Team Elmendorf Recognition Ceremony Dec. 1. These individuals were awarded a Stripe for Exceptional Performers during the ceremony. To master sergeant: Brian Dales, 3rd Medical Operations Squadron To technical sergeant: Aaron Gagne, 3rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Rayna Varela, 3rd Operations Support Squadron Andres Gonzalez, 3rd Component Maintenance Squadron The STEP program, established in 1980, is designed to meet those unique circumstances that, in the commander’s judgment, clearly warrant promotion. Under STEP a limited number of Airmen with exceptional potential may be immediately promoted to the ranks of staff sergeant through master sergeant.
