WHS Bomb Threat
WASILLA, ALASKA -- Senior Airman Joshua Briggs, Elmendorf Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit, and an officer from the Anchorage Police Department Bomb Squad maneuver their Andros 6 robots to search for any traces of explosives within Wasilla High School Jan. 8. Airman Briggs and his unit teamed up with the Anchorage and Wasilla Police Departments to absolve the bomb threat situation at the school. Though no devices were found, the teams received valuable interagency training. It was the first time local law enforcement and the military worked together in this type of situation.
