Eglin takes part Red Flag-Alaska
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A 60th Fighter Squadron F-15C takes off for a training mission during RED FLAG-Alaska April 15. The 60th Fighter Squadron is assigned to the 33rd Fighter Wing from Eglin AFB, Fla. Nearly 1,600 U.S. and foreign participants have gathered in Alaska to simulate real-life combat scenarios. RED FLAG-Alaska 08-2 includes air forces from Austrailia, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as the U.S. Air Force. The next RED FLAG-Alaska is set for June 5-20.
