Northern Edge brings Nellis Airmen to Last Frontier
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, ALASKA -- A deployed F-15 from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. taxis down the runway during Northern Edge '08 May 6. Northern Edge 2008, the largest military training exercise in Alaska, began May 5 with roughly 5,000 U.S. active duty, national guard, and reserve component Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, and Marine participants.
