Northern Edge brings Nellis Airmen to Last Frontier

Elmendorf Air Foce Base, Alaska -- Capt. Matthew French briefs pilots prior to stepping to aircraft for the start of the flying day during Northern Edge '08. Captain French, and F-15 pilot, is assigned to the 67th Fighter Squadron, Kadena Air Force Base, Japan. U.S. Military units stationed in the continental United States and the Pacific theater will participate in exercise Northern Edge 2008, a joint training exercise hosted by Alaskan Command scheduled for May 5-16. Approximately 5,000 Active Duty, Guard and Reserve component Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, Coast Guardsmen, and Marines will participate with over 120 aircraft from all the Services.
