Jump in to Alaska

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Lt. Col. Alex Cos, 98th Fighter Training Squadron director of operations, test jumps the Alaska state flag June 20. The U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue parachute team will perform during Arctic Thunder at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, June 27-29. The team's jumps will officially start the "We're in" weekend festivities at about 6:45 p.m. June 27 at Alaska's Operation Gratitude concert featuring Wynonna Judd. The team is also scheduled to perform at 10:30 a.m. and 2:55 p.m. June 28 and 29 during Arctic Thunder. Alaska's Operation Gratitude and Arctic Thunder are free and open to the public.
